I Wish I Knew This When I Started…

We all have to start somewhere. Just now I typed shart instead of start, so there’s that.

I was thinking about my 10 years in this biz and thought it might be cool to do an episode every now and then on something I wish I knew when I started.

Today’s thing: the power of blogging.

I kind of knew it then, and definitely don’t blog as much as I’d like to now. But it’s definitely NOT dead.

You might have heard me mention before that I have a little required question on my “contact” form that asks: where did you find me?

From people typing things into Google.

The best part?

They are often venue mentions or articles I authored six, seven, eight years ago.

SEO is real and it’s not going anywhere. Jump back to my SEO for Beginners series with Becca Dilley if you’re interested in a four part crash course here on the podcast. It starts at episode 20 and you can follow from there
