The Photo Business Help Greenhouse is opening!
What the hell am I talking about? If you are totally new to this, then my name is Natalie Jennings. Welcome to my website! I'm the host of the Photo Business Help podcast, and the owner of Jennings photo. I've been doing professional portrait photography for the last 11 years now, full time.
I'm also a teacher and an educator. One of the things that I have been dreaming about for a while is putting together a place where I could nurture the Photo Business Help Community. That community includes podcast listeners, as well as our Facebook community, past students, and fellow colleagues. I wanted a space to really be able to help educate people, but also help them along the way.
This is meant to be a space where other photographers connect with other photographers. There's going to be guests educators, there's all kinds of stuff. So I am here today to tell you what the heck this Greenhouse thing is. If you are interested in a really affordable, really killer, fun learning experience, this is for you.
The Photo Business Help Greenhouse is a membership program. Once you sign up to join, you'll pay a monthly fee and have access to the interface of the membership.
Every single month in the Greenhouse, we will have a different theme that we'll be working on.
One month might be SEO for photographers, one might be communication, one month might be legal stuff and contracts.
You'll have access to the monthly themed training, which is delivered by folks in the industry that are experts.
Along with those themes, I have invited some really awesome folks to guest educate and speak each month. So that's one piece that's kind of in rotation month to month.
Inside your membership, you'll have access to all of my courses.
I'll be adding new courses as I polish them up. The foundational pieces of the membership include my signature course, Photosynthesis, which is a 12 week course done over video. There are worksheets and all kinds of support materials. That course is all about getting the foundational pieces of your photography business in place. These are the things I've learned over the last 10 years that I believe are necessary to growing a business. Quite a few folks have gone through that course. They've seen amazing results.
You'll also have weekly coaching calls that are live with me.
So if you are one of those folks that learns better if you stay accountable to things, they will be a weekly coaching call with me where you can send me a question and say, “Hey, I'm on module two. What do you think is the best way to go about this?” And if you get your question in on time, I will answer it for you every single week. If you tune into the coaching calls, you can learn a lot from what other people are going through as well.
There's also going to be mindset coaching calls and editing study sessions.
Mindset coaching calls will be exactly what you think they are. These are going to be motivational, inspirational, fun calls. That'll be held at least twice a month to get you out of imposter syndrome and all of the other crappy stuff we deal with, especially when we feel isolated doing this work. The study hall calls will basically make sure you stay accountable to your editing schedule. So you can chat with other photographers while you're editing. I have been in a club that does these kinds of sessions and they're really fun.
So that's just a little bit about what's included. There's some other cool bonus stuff that you'll find as well. I'm not going to get into that today, but the vision that I have for the Photo Business Help Greenhouse is to build community, to have a place that you can learn to polish up your Photo Business. If you're brand new, you can start your Photo Business in a way that feels good, in a way where you're supported, and in a place where you get to meet other photographers.
There will also be a directory where you'll be able to see who's in the club that is in your area.
